2005
December, 2005 - We have purchased a lovely mare from Belle Meadow Farm in South Carolina.  She is a full papered 3rd premium studbook mare by the Preferent stallion Oege out of a mare by Jochem (the sire of Preferent stallion Feitse). This mare's bloodlines are second to none, coming from the very successful stam 103.  We look forward to seeing her here in mid January.

We have a couple of great prospects for sale, both have video clips on their page.

Happy New Year everyone!

November, 2005 - I have put up some video clips of both sales colts, please have a look!

October, 2005 - We traveled to the Alberta FHANA keuring in Olds, where Sieger earned a First Premium and Champion colt!!  He was also the only foal to earn a first premium.

Austin will head off to his new home this week.  We wish all the best to Nicole and Austin, you will make a great pair!

September, 2005 - Austin has been sold. Thank you and congratulations to Nicole of Port Coquitlam, he will be her next dressage prospect.

Sieger will be heading out with his mom to the Olds keuring and we are very excited to see what the judges think of him.  His mom will also be shown for star.

August, 2005 - The warmblood boys have been weaned and are adjusting well to life without mom.  Augustus has some great new pics on his page, be sure to check them out!

July, 2005 - More pictures, more updates and new breeding picks.  This has been a challenging breeding season so far; Laura is bred to Farrington, Mira to VDL Navarone, Grace to Freestyle and Fardau to Tsjerk 328.  The semen is in, now it's time to cross our fingers!

We have updated pictures of Austintaceous and Sieger.  All prices are current until weaning and all foals will be available to new homes after weaning.

July 29 - Each mare we have bred this year has been confirmed in foal for 2006; Laura to Farrington, Mira to Navarone, Grace to Freestyle and Fardau to Tsjerk.  Please inquire about presales of these 2006 foals.

There are new pictures of Austin on our sales page, he is maturing into a nice, TALL,  weanling.

May, 2005 - I have put a few new pictures of our colt Augustus on the sales page.  He has a pedigree for jumpers, but floats along the ground like a dressage horse...an all-rounder perhaps?  Our other colt Austin will be HUGE!!  He'll be able to pack his new owner over the BIG jumps.  This boy is solidly built and has great potential for any discipline.  Apparently, the Iroko/Ramiro granddaughter cross is Iroko's niche in the breeding world.

We are selling our warmblood program broodmares as well in order to completely make the switch to the Friesian breed.  It's a hard decision to make as these two ladies have served us very well.  Good homes are a MUST, and we will entertain selling each mare in a 3 in 1 package (with colt at side and bred back for 2006.)

May 21 - Fardau gave us a beautiful colt from the stallion sensation Doaitsen 420!

March, 2005 - Fardau is everything we expected, what a nice mare!  Mira had her foal, a big, strong, bay colt.  He is gorgeous and he knows it...he is for sale to the right competition home.  Laura is in no hurry, her foal should be on the ground in a few days.  Prices for these foals will go up after weaning, so buy them now at a great price for this kind of quality!

February, 2005 - Fardau is in Canada and will be joining us at home in late February.  Please have a look at our sales prospects, they will both be fantastic in the hunter/jumper ring.

January, 2005 - Our new Friesian mare Fardau will be landing in Calgary on January 24th and then moving on to Sylvan Lake, Alberta for quarantine at Klondike Victory Farm.  Thank you so much Lorrie Jamieson for all your help and hard work getting this shipment together.

We are currently accepting deposits on our 2005 foals by Iroko.  Both of these foals will be great jumper prospects and both are due to arrive in March.  Please email for further information.

2004

December, 2004 - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!  All is well and we are looking forward to the arrival of our new mare in foal.

Veruca is doing GREAT in her new home, we are so proud of her progress:

"She is a very quick learner, does everything on the lunge line no problem, you can crack the whip super loud and she wont flinch, she is very trusting. She did long lineing and I had my trainer from Missouri work with her. Jodi, she is a top level eventer, she was short listed to the Canadian and USA Olympic Eventing team back in 2000, she has trained MANY top level warmbloods so I was very happy that she moved back here for a few months. She LOVES Veruca, thinks her movement is excellent.  Anyway, today Jodi got on her.  Veruca just LOVES to work so we thought we could start the breaking process, we had done all the flapping stirrups, sacking out stuff and today Jodi just started with leaning over her, then eventually got on. Veruca was EXCELLENT. I lead her around, then we let her out on a circle, then Jodi even did some circles without the lunge line. Veruca was turning, stopping and walking with Jodi on her. It was amazing, not a buck, nothing.  Ruca seemed VERY happy about the whole thing.  Thought I would let you know! I will get you pics as soon as I get some more."

November, 2004 - Marcus was a true gentleman at his September keuring and we are very proud of his performance.  The judges had great comments and wanted to see him back to be judged for the gelding studbook at 3 years of age.

We are right now in the process of purchasing a new Friesian mare in Holland.  If the vet exam goes well we will have more information about our new girl!  Update - Our new mare Fardau will be arriving in Canada shortly after the new year.  She is in foal for May to 2004 Stallion Show Sensation Doaitsen 420!

September, 2004 - We are very sad to announce the passing of our Vera.  She will be missed.

Mira has been withdrawn from sale as we've decided to foal her out this spring.

August, 2004 - Congratulations to Amy Lang of Gibsons on her purchase of Veruca; you will make a wonderful pair!

July, 2004 - Ramira and Laura are settled in foal to Iroko 60+ days, they seem to be the only easy ones this year.  We are still breeding Vera to Tsjerk;  Marcus has taken enough out of his mom and is now a perfect weanling.

Don't miss out on our sales horses, Veruca will be lightly started this fall and her price will increase with training.  Mira's foal is due in March 2005, her price will also increase as foaling nears.  Both are beautiful mares that need homes!

May, 2004 - Again there are changes to the stallion choices for the year, this time they are final.  Mira and Laura have been bred and are confirmed in foal to Iroko for March 2005 foals.  Grace may or may not be bred depending on if we have room for four foals next year.  Vera's plans remain the same.

Marcus is a big, brassy, 3 month old colt, constantly tormenting his mom and older sister.  He's a looker and we can't wait for the keuring this fall to show him off.

As far as our sales horses go, don't miss out on Veruca, she's going to make a great show prospect and she will take you over those jumps as well!  She's a very easy going filly that will be an impressive hunter.  Her mother is also for sale in foal to Iroko.  For the price she's listed at you could sell her foal and pay her off with money to spare.  This foal will jump the moon!

March/April, 2004 - We have again made changes to the stallion selections of this year.  Mira will be bred to Iroko keur and then sold, Laura to Rhythm & Blues (a Ferro-Argus,Saluut stallion), Grace to Sir Sinclair and Vera will be bred to Tsjerk, a Friesian stallion producing some of the highest numbers of premium foals and ster mares. (links to these stallions on the stallion page)

There are new pictures on the sales page, please have a look.

February, 2004 -  Life has been busy as we celebrated the birth of our second daughter, Emelia, on Jan. 8/04.  Breeding plans for the warmbloods are pretty much figured out: Grace to Sir Sinclair, Laura to Donatelli, and Mira to Rhythm & Blues.

We have our first and only foal of the season on the ground...it's a colt!  Vera gave birth on February 15, her own little valentine!  There are pics of him on the Foals page.

I also have new pics of Veruca on the sales page, she will make someone a fantastic prospect.

2003
November/December, 2003 - Not much news as winter is approaching and all the excitement around show season is dying down.  We will be expecting our first and only foal this spring at the end of February.  Hopefully the weather will co-operate!

As for 2004 breeding plans, we will definitely be breeding Grace to Sir Sinclair, Iron Spring's new stallion.  Laura may be bred to either Kadans or Argus and Mira is still somewhat up in the air.  Vera's rebreed plans are also up in the air as we weigh our benefits of frozen vs. chilled.

September, 2003 - We attended the FHANA keuring at Olds, Alberta this weekend and were blown away with our Friesian girl's performance.  Lys was awarded 1st premium which is only given to the top 5% of Friesian foals.  In addition, Lys also won Reserve Champion Filly.  Both horses were very well behaved and showed extremely well.   You can see more 2003 keuring photos on Lys' page!

Laura did not catch so we will be waiting until next spring to breed her again.  Stallion selection for all four mares is still up in the air.

August, 2003 - Vera and Lys are outstanding Friesians, we are very happy with them as our foundation stock.  Laura is being re-bred to Kadans for 2004, whereas Ora Mira will be open this season.  We are throwing around the idea of breeding Waltz With Grace next spring, there are some very attractive stallions out there that will certainly complement her!  Laura's daughter, Lauralee, is being successfully started under saddle and looks like a very promising young mare!

Veruca is still available for sale, she is already standing 15.2hh as a yearling!  Her lovely movement and easy going temperament will make her an excellent prospect for any discipline.

July, 2003 - Vera and Lys arrived at our farm on June 25.  They are so much more than we expected and are happy to see them home.  Laura and Mira are holding out on foaling and we are very anxious to see what they have for us!  Mira will be given the year off from breeding and plans for Laura's rebreeding are still up in the air.  We will have two foals on the ground in 2004; Vera by Olrik and Laura by ?

Have a look at our sales page; this filly is really becoming a beautiful yearling.
